Rani Mukherjee (aka Rani Mukerji) is 5' 3" tall 29 yr old award winning Indian film actress. She is cousin of cousin of Kajol, Sharbani Mukherji, Mohnish Bahl and Tanisha. Rani started her Bollywood career with Hindi film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat and got her first commercial success with Karan Johar's Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai in 1998 where she performed along with Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Salman Khan. She also won Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for the same.

On Women's International Day 2007, Mukherjee came in the fourth position on the All-Time Best Bollywood Actresses Ever Listing after Madhuri Dixit, Madhubala and Nargis.

In 1999 she did world tour of stage shows Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Akshaye Khanna and Twinkle Khanna. It was called the Magnificent Five.

Her recent release is Yash Raj Films Laaga Chunari Mein Daag where she portrays three different looks. Jaya Bachchan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Hema Malini (special appearance) was also part of the movie.

She is giving a special appearance along with many Bollywood personalities for the song Deewangi Deewangi of movie Om Shanti Om directed by Farah Khan. Deepika Padukone is playing lead actress in the movie.

She also has a major role of prostitue in Sajay Leela Bhansali's movie Saawariya where Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are playing lead characters along with Salman Khan.
